The hat has a large brim to shade the face and the flap covers the ears and neck from the harsh rays of the sun with an elastic band to help fit snuggly around the head.  Perfect for any outdoor or water activity!

Flap Happy was founded over 30 years ago by designer Laurie Lipson Snyder, a Malibu native and mother of four.

After Laurie was diagnosed with skin cancer at a young age, she started the business with the purpose of shielding her children’s faces and necks from the sun’s harmful UV rays with a protective hat that no other company in the marketplace was offering.
